OUR MISSION & VALUES

WCA Mission Statement

WCA provides compassionate care to those needing long term care and those requiring supportive cancer care.  WCA works to identify and fill gaps in service in London and region as appropriate.

WCA will collaborate with others to ensure a well informed, integrated community which actively supports long term care, aging adults, and supportive cancer care.  Major components of this mission
will achieve:

1. Enablement and support of people with long term illness to live life to its fullest.
2. Support for elderly people to maintain their independence and quality of life throughout the
   continuum of care.
3. Support to enhance the quality of life of people living with cancer.
4. Assistance for families to cope with the challenges of family members who are aging and/or living with long term or life threatening illnesses.

The key areas of focus within this mission will be:

1. Long term care.
2. Assisted living for the elderly.
3. Integrated programs along the continuum of care for people living with dementia.
4. Supportive cancer care programs which complement the treatment system.
